Accent Radiofrequency - Overview

Accent radiofrequency is a body contouring technology that uses radio frequency wavelengths to tighten your skin, remove fat or reduce cellulite. The radio wavelengths safely penetrate the skin with vibrations; these vibrations target the water molecules in the area being treated, causing them to move and heat up.

This heat causes the skin tissue to begin shrinking whilst stimulating the remodelling of collagen cells. Meanwhile, the heat creates a breakdown of the fat cells while increasing the blood circulation and drainage to the lymphatic system. Essentially, this allows for the fat in cellulite to be broken down and safely removed through the body naturally, all while tightening and smoothing the skin.

Accent allows you to achieve sleek, firm, and toned body without any pain or surgery. It is completely non-invasive, and most clients describe the treatment as like having a warm deep tissue massage. Accent can be used on most areas of the body, including the arms, face, neck, and jawline.

Accent is the ideal treatment for:

Does it hurt?

No, Accent is completely non-invasive and does not hurt. Your body is alternately cooled and warmed during this treatment, and your temperature is constantly regulated by use of a laser thermometer so that you feel no discomfort. Most clients describe having Accent as extremely pleasant, similar to a warm deep tissue massage.

Is there a chance of scarring?

No. Because radio wavelengths are used, no incisions are made to penetrate the skin, so there is no risk of scarring or infection.

How many treatments do I need?

Typically our clients have between four and eight sessions but it is best to discuss this with your botonics doctor as the number of sessions needed can vary depending on the client and area of body being treated.

How often should I have treatments?

Your botonics doctor will create your individual treatment schedule during the initial consultation to ensure you achieve the best possible results.

For years I had been self conscious of a scar on my forehead, and wore my hair in a fringe to cover it. When I finally decided to have dermal filler treatment, I couldn't believe how quick and simple it was! I'm very pleased with the result and am wearing my hair off of my forehead for the first time in four years. I only wish I had visited botonics sooner!!

I've been having hyperhidrosis treatments with botonics for years now and I don't know how I ever got on without them!  A quick visit every six months or so and I don't ever have to worry about staining my shirts with sweat!  It's such a relief to live my life free of a problem I had for years.
